Our Story

Sassy N Trendy was founded in Kenya by Catherine Muguiyi, a visionary serial entrepreneur and dedicated advocate for women’s empowerment. Catherine’s leadership spans multiple successful family-run ventures across Kenya and the UK, and her lifelong mission has been to create opportunities for women to build sustainable businesses and financial independence.

Motivated by her love for beauty, wellness, and community, Catherine established Sassy N Trendy with the goal of offering high-quality products that not only enhance beauty but also inspire confidence and self-worth.

To support growing demand, Catherine founded Go Get It Distributors, the brand’s sister company and manufacturing partner. Go Get It Distributors produces Sassy N Trendy’s signature product range, including our premium braiding hair. This partnership provides valuable employment which ensures that every product reflects the craftsmanship and authenticity our customers trust.

Today, Sassy N Trendy stands proudly at the intersection of Kenyan heritage and global ambition, while staying rooted in the values that started it all.
